Alfred "Big Al" Lagarde (RIP) and Sleeze Beez. The Beez, backstage after another sold out show in Paradiso, with Mr. 'ROCKNROLL' himself, Big, Bad, Alfred Lagarde, the baddest DJ ever to scream on the airwaves in Holland. Alas, Al is no longer with us as he passed away in 1998. Alfred was, together with Kees Baars, undoubtably one of the Beez biggest radio supporters, always ready to drop by the studio for a laugh, a drink and to do a special 'alfred' re-mix of whatever we were recording, ultimatley ending up inviting the whole band to sit in his Saab and listen to the final mix on his car PA (yep, Al didn't have a stereo, he had a frikkin PA in his car!!) while drinking serious amounts of beer and vodka....Check out www.bigbadal.nl RIP brother, you will be with us onstage on the 23rd of June.......Heroes Die Young.
